We will not sell, share, rent, or otherwise provide any personal information you have given us, to any third party without your permission. In most instances, we obtain your personal information when we deal with you face to face, over the telephone, via email, letter or facsimile. You might also provide us with information when you complete forms or surveys, register for newsletters, enter competitions, or make an enquiry via our website. When you make enquiries or purchase travel arrangements, we will often request the following information from you:
  • Your name, as it appears on your passport
  • Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • Your credit card number and expiry date
  • Your passport details
  • Your dietary or health requirements (if applicable to your journey).
Where necessary, this information will be communicated to third party service providers responsible for the facilitation of your travel arrangements. These may include tour and/or cruise operators, hoteliers, airlines, insurance providers etc. Your consent to the collection of personal information by us, applies equally to the parties whose products and services we arrange on your behalf. For example, if you purchase a tour from us, then under this policy you will have consented to your personal information being used by us; being provided to the tour operator to enable your tour to be booked; and being used by the tour operator for their own purposes. Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity. Our internet servers use 'cookies' to collect data each time a user navigates our site. Cookies are small files placed on your computer's hard drive, or in your browser memory, when you visit our website. The technical information gathered allows us to manage and maintain a website that is useful to you. If you do not wish to have cookies stored on your machine, you can turn them off in your browser. Payment and Pricing Policy

Payments can be made by cash, credit card, direct deposit, and EFTPOS. Due to clearance times on cheques, and the restrictions of payment dates for travel arrangements, we do not accept cheques. However, if this is your only method of payment please contact Emma Whiting to talk about your options. Please discuss your preferred payment option with your consultant at time of booking. Cash: Cash is accepted at the office before 3pm on business days. Credit Card: We accept American Express, Diners, Master Card and Visa. Credit card payments do incur fees on each transaction, and will be outlined on your invoice. The following fees apply:
  • Master Card and Visa: 2%
  • Diners and American Express: 3%
A Credit Card Charge Authority, or, Signature on File Authority (for corporate or regular payments) form must be submitted to Emma Whiting Travel. It will be valid only for the duration of your booking. Direct Deposit: Direct Deposits can take 1 2 days to appear in our account, depending on the time of processing. As such, please organise your payments 1 2 days before the due date on your invoice. Please note that most banks impose a daily withdrawal limit of $800 to $1000.

Pricing:

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars. Prices and taxes are correct as at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice. Prices are per person and are subject to availability. Seasonal surcharges and blackout dates may apply depending on date of travel. Additional taxes, levies, government charges and other applicable fees specific to your travel arrangements may apply (unless stated as included). Travel restrictions and conditions apply. Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not accept your booking unless you understand and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Prices:

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.

Travel Documents:

Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers, or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. All travel documents are non-transferable. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder, some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled. If is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to travel . Please contact your consultant the day before collection to confirm that the travel documents are ready for collection.

Travel insurance:

We can provide travel information to you about travel insurance. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel.

Passports & Visas:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities.. any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of entry. If you need information regarding visa and other travel document requirements for your trip please let us know. We can obtain such information from an external visa advisory service provider on your behalf. We do not warrant the accuracy of such information and accept no liability for any loss or damage which you may suffer in reliance on it. We can obtain visas for you if you wish and fees may apply for this service.

Health:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.

Taxes:

Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charge at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice. Cancellation fees: We are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from the relevant supplier. Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking regardless of whether travel has commenced. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are re-issued.

Agency:

Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operations. Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd's obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the provider and not with Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd.

Liability:

We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise or the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, or third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort, or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by forces majeure or any other even which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Credit Card Transactions:

Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, not against Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd. In the event that payment has been made to Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd. by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back you payment to Emma Whiting Travel Services Pty. Ltd

Organise your American Express Holiday Money through us. American Express provide the largest range of currencies and denominations in Travelers Cheques and Foreign Cash. The new pre-paid PIN protected card, Cash Passport, can also be arranged through us.
