Regent Seven Seas Mariner – Touring The Ship
While the guests were out exploring sunny Melbourne, we were invited on board the Regent Seven Seas Mariner ship for a tour. It was fabulous to get a feel for the ship and see it through the eyes of a passenger. The ship was an excellent size, with a capacity of 700 guests. There were so many different areas of the ship to enjoy without feeling crowded or overwhelmed, it reminded me of a boutique hotel. As an all-suite ship the cabins were fantastic. The entry level cabin type is a 28m2 Deluxe Veranda Suite which features a lounge area, walk in wardrobe, and balcony (photo below).
The rooftop pool deck is fabulous with so much space for lounging in the sun with a cocktail. There are plenty of ways to keep active onboard as the ship features a tennis court, putting green, golf nets, and gym with personal trainers available.
We visited Prime 7, the steak restaurant, and French restaurant Chartreuse. Regent cater to foodies, including access to specialty restaurants for all guests without additional surcharges.
Regent Seven Seas also include unlimited shore excursions with knowledgeable local guides that help you experience the history, culture and cuisine of each place you visit.
