A Tour Of Bowie’s Berlin
Our guide was a local muso working as a DJ in Berlin of Scottish origin. He had a big interest in music in general. He took us around Berlin and told us stories in context to the time Bowie lived in Berlin and recorded 3 albums. It was a great way to explore Berlin‘s quirky areas and visit the places where Bowie lived, recorded music and so on. Our guide still included many main sights and focused a lot on the revolution and points of interest that inspired Bowie. We visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews, the Brandenburg Gate, Ghost Stations, various parts of the Berlin Wall, and Schöneberg Gay District. It’s a great way to explore a city and is just like hanging out with a friend and casually learning and taking in the sights.
