Another Incredible Indian Experience
This beautiful Rangoli henna pattern was done by a talented woman on one of Udaipur’s sunny rooftops. After purchasing a handwoven wall hanging to add to our growing collection of textiles the store owner extended us an invitation to his house to meet his family. We were a little apprehensive at first but sure enough just around the corner and with a view of Pichola Lake in the midday sun, we shared a cup of chai with his wife and family, all the while he was grinning from ear to ear and bursting with pride. Another incredible Indian experience.
