Sun Baked Pyramids in Egypt
My first thought when I gazed at these amazing wonders of the world was “perhaps a black t-shirt was a bad choice” as it was so damn hot! The heat didn’t however distract from my visit to the Pyramids of Giza. It’s impossible to describe just how grand and impressive these structures are and the mind boggles when trying to understand how they were built. This particular shot was taken from a vantage point looking back at the Necropolis. In one direction the sun baked Sahara stretches off into the distance, in the other the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure impose over the hazy and bustling city of Cairo in the background.
