Swimming near wild elephants at Camp Kazuma, Botswana
It doesn’t get much better than this! Relaxing in the gentle cool of Camp Kuzuma’s infinity pool, whilst behind me a herd of wild elephants bask in the murky stills of a watering hole.
Kuzuma’s impressive camp looks out into the expansive wilds of Chobe National Park. The deck leading up to the pool made a perfect spot for a cold beer and an afternoon of wildlife viewing. The area was subject to visits from a diverse range of Chobe’s animal inhabitants, the elephants have even been known to utilise the pool’s water when the watering hole was overcrowded!
Being able to view such breathtaking wildlife from the luxury of a pool setting, made for a wonderful alternative to the sometimes bumpy and dusty experience of a game drive!
